Hear dis now, bredren! Just when everyone thought di inline-six horsepower wars reached their absolute ceiling with 1,800 WHP records and 7.5-second slips, di mastermind crew over at @p2uned (Prayoonto Racing) just pulled out di nuclear weapon of modern drag racing: di world's first finished Billet X58 Engine Block!
Hold on tight, cause dis ain't no ordinary aftermarket casting, star! Dem boys literally took di absolute best DNA from di B58 and fused it together with di brute-force bottom end of di S58, carving a pure Frankenstein-Pokemon god-level monster out of a monolithic chunk of aerospace-grade billet aluminum!
Why Di Factory Blocks Had To Die:
Listen good: OEM cast aluminum blocks on both B58 and S58 are engineering marvels for street cars. But once racers started ramming 4.5+ BAR (65+ PSI) of boost and crossing 1,800 wheel horsepower, physics stepped in to slap everybody in di face:
- 💥 Cylinder Wall Ovalization: Under 2,000+ HP combustion pressure, even ductile iron Darton sleeves flex because the factory aluminum casting around them begins to twist.
- 💥 Main Cap Walking: High-RPM crank twist causes factory 2-bolt main caps to dance, wearing main bearings down to the copper in just a few passes.
- 💥 Deck Surface Lifting: Violent cylinder pressure pushes against the head studs, compromising the MLS head gasket seal.
Lord have mercy! Enter di X58 solution. P2uned looked at di landscape and realized:
- The B58 cylinder head flows stupid amounts of air, uses a bulletproof single-turbo manifold layout, and has a simple, rock-solid front accessory drive.
- The S58 engine possesses massive cross-bolted 4-bolt steel main cap architecture and bulletproof bottom-end stabilization.
So what did P2uned do? Dem boys sat down at SolidWorks, modeled di hybrid architecture from scratch, and threw a colossal solid billet block onto a 5-axis CNC machining center! The result features 4-bolt billet steel main caps, accommodations for massive 1/2-inch custom ARP heavy-duty head studs, engineered internal wet-jacket cooling passages for street/strip duty, and structural rigidity capable of handling 2,500+ WHP without breaking a single sweat!
P2uned confirmed that this first completed test block is already destined for their in-house pro dragster chassis. Data logging and stress validation are happening right on di dragstrip asphalt!
No more cracked sleeves, no more walking caps, and no more limits! The 6-second quarter-mile barrier for the *58 platform isn't just a dream anymore—dis X58 monster is about to rip di timeline in half! Stay glued to B58 Racing EU for live testing telemetry!
