Why the stock part is absolute pain
The factory cat on the Gen3 is incredibly dense to meet the newest European emissions standards. This traps heat against the turbo and creates insane backpressure. By going catless, you drop your Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT) dramatically, allowing the turbo to spool up much faster. The throttle response becomes violent.
