Why the stock part is absolute pain
The factory BMW software is designed to be smooth and boring. It limits boost to around 11 PSI and keeps the throttle response soft. MHD completely rewrites the engine computer, turning up the boost to 18+ PSI, optimizing fuel and timing, and removing the speed limiters. The app also lets you monitor dozens of engine sensors in real-time, so you know exactly what your engine is doing when you are doing 150 mph down the highway. It's the most critical mod for the B58.
